Web Unleashed
WEB Unleashed is aimed at harnessing the potential of Web 2.0 by making use of ASP.Net/PHP/JSP/AJAX.
The event is aimed at popularizing the use of tools like Joomla, Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse, Dreamweaver etc. among the participants.
Rules:

Phase 1:
- Abstract of the project.
- Technical information about the project.
- Participants should specify how they are going to achieve essential features listed in problem statement that is their design approach.
- Participants should clearly specify if they are adding any additional features.
- Teams should register for the event in the registration section of the website.
- Each team can have a maximum of 3 participants.
- Any sort of plagiarism from the participants shall result in disqualification.
- The coordinators reserve the right to alter any rule with regard to the event and the same shall be updated on the website regularly.
- Judges decision shall be deemed final and undisputed with regard to the selection of the winners.
Participating teams need to submit a synopsis document (minimum 5-6 Pages) that would comprise of:
Participants are required to submit the complete project including all supporting files (database files etc.)
Judgement Criteria:
- First round judging will be based on the clarity in SRS.
- Second round will be based on the marks awarded by the prof as per the various fuctionalities and features added by the participants.
- In case of multiple solutions to same problem by a team, only the last submitted solution shall be considered.
- Credit will be awarded on the basis of approach and correctness of the solution.
- Submissions after the specified time shall be rejected.

Submissions
- Phase 1: All the students are required to submit the synopsis prepared in .doc/.pdf format and mailed to webunleashed2010@gmail.com with subject as <Team name /College Name/ State name / Project Scenario>.
- Phase 2: For Non-DAIICTians(not able to attend the fest)- Fully prepared website should be zipped mailed to webunleashed2010@gmail.com with subject as <Team name /College Name/ State name / Final Submission> which should contain:
- All the web pages
- Snapshots of all the web pages.
- DDL script of the database that you have created.
- General instruction of how to access the website.
For all DAIICTians- All your work will be seen and judged on the synapse day itself.
