Naivete

'The Nukkad Natak' rolls back the year's usage of open space, fundamental right of speech and showcasing an array of acts with socially relevant messages from those "olden days".

Authentic plays aiming at the common man passing by on the street are displayed with three Es: Excitement, Energy and Enthusiasm... It is more powerful than any other mode of theatre because of its proximity between the audience and actors.

Event Structure

  1. It should be a one act play, which implies, once the actors start performing, they don't get off the arena before the completion of the play.
  2. The time limit is 30 minutes. Severe penalties are in place for exceeding time limits.
  3. Team size should not exceed 15.
  4. Musical instruments are allowed.(Innovative musical instruments like cans, bottles, etc. may fetch you some brownie points).
  5. No electronic instruments are allowed.
  6. Please note that the medium of communication may be English, Hindi or Bi-lingual.
  7. Clothing or actions that could be perceived as obscene, lewd, vulgar or plainly offensive is strictly prohibited.
  8. Judges' and coordinators' decision will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
