  Memories stay with us forever even after those wonderful moments pass. Capture the essence of synapse by photographing the obvious and not so obvious 'incidents? and experiences that take place during the fest.

  Event Structure

  Phase 1:
  The initial phase of the event invites entries from all of you. In this phase you are supposed to send us any of your photo shots that u have captured through lens.

  
  

  Categories for Phase I:

  1. Nature Photography: Photographs of landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures.
  2. Life & People: Any subject matter that’s human with the periphery of life.
  3. Campus Close-ups: Capture your campus from not so obvious angles in all its fervor. (Try excluding people from the shots if possible)
  4. Road life which will be reflecting the lives of common people and day to day activities seen on the road
  5. Others: Anything else that doesn't classifies into above-mentioned categories.

  Phase 2:
  This phase would be independent of the previous phase. Capturing the festivities of Synapse through lens would be the prime motive behind this phase. Be alert and click photographs during the three day Mega fest. If you think you have captured something special, simply submit it to us. Each day of Synapse will identify a Picture of the day. Also, Best Synapse Picture would be identified across the three day festival.

  Rules

  • No obscene photographs will be accepted.
  • Photos mailed should be accompanied with full details regarding the names of the participants, email id, college name and location.
  • Maximum number of photos per team is 5 for Phase 1.
  • Maximum number of members per team is 2.
  • For Phase 2 you can send as many entries as you want.
  • Any entry without full details (of participant) will be rejected.
  • Submissions can be either in group or on individual basis.
  • Photos should have a minimum resolution of 640*480 Pixels.
  • Photographs, if found to be copy of other people's work and of course copied from google and other template sites will be eliminated. (This applies, even after the winner for the event has been announced)
  • In case of any discrepancy judge's decision will be final.

  Dates

  • Phase 1: 16th January - 27nd February, 2011
  • Phase 2: 25th February - 29th February, 2011
