  Event Structure

  1. The tournament would be "CTF" i.e, capture the flag to be played in teams.
  2. The format of the tournament will be "knock-out" till the semi-finals.
  3. For the selection of the arena of the match, there will be a 1v1 5 frag deathmatch between 1 player of each of the 2 clans in the arena Q3DM1 before the match. The players who will play in the deathmatch will be chosen by the respective clan members and each player can play only 1 such match in the whole tournament.
  4. The winner of the deathmatch will get to choose the arena for the CTF match.
  5. 3 CTF Arenas: Q3CTF1, Q3CTF4, Q3TOURNEY6_CTF
  6. The time limit of each match in the knock-out stages is 20 mins.
  7. The winning flag limit is set to 7.

  Rules

  • If any clan member is found cheating or using illegal means in any of the matches, the clan will be disqualified and the opposite clan will automatically qualify for the next round.
  • If the flag scores at the end of the time limit are equal, the clan having the most no. of frags will be declared winner.
  • All participants should have valid college IDs.
  • Each clan should have exactly 4 members. Clan name and leader (along with
  • his contact no.) have to be specified during registration.
  • Each clan should register on the synapse website by midnight of 23rd Feb 2011. Registration is completely FREE.
  • One participant can play from only 1 clan. If found otherwise, his/her clans will be automatically disqualified.
  • Fixtures will be circulated after the registrations end and each clan is advised to be present at least half an hour before their match. Failing to reach in time will lead to the clan being disqualified on the spot.
  • No replacements will be allowed once the clan is registered.
  • If any clan member is found cheating or using illegal means in any of the matches, the clan will be disqualified and the opposite clan will automatically qualify for the next round.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision of the supervisors will be final.
