Event structure :
Phase -I (Online ) :
This round consists of 20 - 25 questions and the participants have to crack the questions one after the other. The duration of first phase will be 90 minutes. If a participant is unable to answer a question he/she will have an option to skip the current question and proceed to the next question but, he/she will not be able to return to the previous question. The top 5 DA-IICT teams and 3 outside teams will be selected based on their score, for the final round .The selected teams will compete for winning the final round in the DA-IICT campus itself during Synapse.
Phase-II (Online) :
This round will be similar to Phase-1 but teams will need to participate from lab (lab number to be decided later). This round will consist of 15 - 20 questions and one hour time. The team scoring maximum points will be declared winner.
Rules
- Max. team size is 2
- Each Team should register only once specifying their teamates.
- Always answer your question with no spaces(if any) in between words. (i.e. if the answer is "googlock holmes " write "googlockholmes")
- Your answers need to be in lower case.
- Once you skip a questions you can't return to that later.
- For each correct answer your score increases by 10 or by corresponding number if mentioned explicitly.
- If the scores are same for two teams at the end of phase 1,the time of last answer submission will be considered as the tie-breaker.
- Participants from DAIICT have to register using their student mail ID(Eg:200901154@daiict.ac.in) only. This is mandatory for claiming the prize money.
- Any sort of malpractice like multiple accounts shall result in disqualification and coordinators decision shall be considered final.
- Teams can login in to the specified webpage any time during the event.
- In case of any disputes the decision of the Team GooglockHolmes would be final.
- The questions of phase 1 will be uploaded time to time i.e. 3 questions ahead than number of questions scored by top scorer, will be uploaded.
